I remember Dolly very well! She was one of my childhood idols because she was so beautiful! I remember Mrs. White coming up the hill to mind us (Michaele, Donni, and me) sometimes. Also, she used to bake all the time and let Michaele and I use our child-sized baking sets to bake our child-sized cakes!

That is my sister, Dolly (Murtha) Romer.
Mrs White was our grandmother.

My family used to live in this house! Are you related to Mrs. White? I believe she owned it back in the day...My grandfather bought it from her, I believe, sometime in the 40's? I lived there for awhile in the early 60's, then my dad bought it from my grandfather in 1978 and lived there until he passed away in 2004.
Wow, this brought back such memories!

What a cool pic & cute girl! I think my sis had a dog just like that at that same age. Probably from the same litter since our folks knew each other. :o) (I might even have a pic of it...).
