As a correction to who's in this pic, possibly, Bob Forlie wrote this:

"My mother 1st thought that she was sitting next to your mother-Etta on the car but now she thinks the girl is Kate Monahan."

Thanks Bob and Mrs. Dot!

The young lady sitting next to Etta is Dorothy White (Forlie), my mother.

Bob, Bob's sis and mom, (Dot-Mrs Dorothy Forlie),

Hi! This is soooo exciting to hear from you! I've wondered who the people were in that old photo of my mom's-(Etta Begerow) and now I have a name! THANKS soooo much! But, more- my mom talked so sweetly about Dot! It's great to here her name again! I didn't recognize her last name until I read "White." (Is she (& you) related to my relatives....?)

Sad to say my mom & dad passed on but they'll always be "treasured" in our hearts. Oh, I wish I could recall all she said about Dot, but I can't at the moment. Oh my mind... where did it go....? (I'm in my late 50s-age & should still have it somewhere...I'll look for it. Ha!). I'll be sure to ask my big sis & some NY relatives that your mom & you may know...

Please ask your mom if she recalls who the other folks are in pic #24? Looks like my cousin-Dave Colligan-(the boy). I didn't realize folks could make comments on the pics. (Thanks Sheila!).

We'd love to see the photo you have of them on Tot beach! Is it posted on here anywhere? Is it of my grma Mary Gladys B? Or of my mom & Dot? Either way, it would be wonderful to see!!! And just seeing the beach again, would be fantastic!

Isn't Sheila-Anne a sweetheart for creating all this for us? Yes!!! (THANKS, SHEILA!!!)

Feel free to email me at [email protected] We'd love to hear from you & share more!

My mother remembers Etta and says she was a good friend and like an older sister to her. She presently lives in Queensbury NY near us. She is 83 now.
